Great Register Transcription Project

1892 Great Register

The typed manuscript was originally loaned to the SLOCGS by Beulah Heidorn & Helen Keller.

Due to the fact that it had been copied many times, an effort was made in 1995 to clean up the master for future printing. With the continued rising cost of printing on paper, the 1892 Great Register Publication will be Digitally Archived, this new Publication will include a fully searchable index and be available on CD.

The1892 Great Register contains the following Information:

Registration Number, Name, Age, Height, Complexion, Color of Eyes, Color of Hair, Visible Marks or Scars and Their Locality, Occupation, Country of Nativity, Place of Residence, Precinct, Post Office Address, Naturalized, date, place, court and Date of  Registration.

The SLOCGS Librarians are happy to send either Scans or Transcriptions for a Donation to the Library Book Fund from the Index below.
